I'm Joelle Steele, and I'm an artist, photographer, and photo editor providing services internationally and locally to the greater Olympia, Tacoma, and Seattle areas of Washington state. Here's what you'll find on my Web pages:

PHOTO RESTORATION. I retouch, color-correct, tint, and restore old photographs, including snapshots, Polaroids, and studio portraits, as well as antique Daguerreotypes, ambrotypes, tintypes, and gemtypes. You can see a selection of "before" and "after" samples of my work and read my articles on antique photography and photo restoration.

ART & PHOTOGRAPHY. I provide a variety of creative services, including fine art, illustration, book and CD cover design, photography, and ad building. I also sell a CD of my botanical/horticultural clip art, which consists of black-and-white images of plants and flowers, leaf shapes, and various plant processes. And, I sell a CD of stock photos taken mostly in California in the Central Coast towns of Carmel, Monterey, and Pacific Grove, and also a few in San Francisco and other areas.

ART & ARTIST RESOURCES. I offer FREE informational resources, such as personalized advice in my art Q&A column and in my articles for artists and art lovers.
